Electrician in Waltham Cross
Waltham Cross is just over the county boundary in Hertfordshire, across the River Lea from Waltham Abbey, and takes its name from the Eleanor Cross that still stands in the town centre. It is a little further west than Waltham Abbey from our Buckhurst Hill base, and our emergency callout service covers EN8 just as it does our Essex and London areas.
Homes in Waltham Cross
Waltham Cross has Victorian and Edwardian terraces close to the High Street, interwar and post-war semis on the roads further out, and a fair amount of newer housing and flats. Terraces and older semis often still have an old fuse board, or wiring that was only partly updated, while newer homes are more likely to need extra sockets, outdoor power or an EV charger than any major work. Rented homes need an EICR at least every five years, just as they do on the Essex side of the Lea.
Borough of Broxbourne, Hertfordshire. Postcodes EN8.
Fuse board replacements
Older fuse boards in terraces and semis replaced with modern consumer units, tested and notified to building control.
Rental property EICRs
Condition reports for landlords with houses and flats in EN8, with any remedial work explained and quoted.
EV chargers for newer homes
Charge points for newer houses with driveways, often a simpler job where the fuse board is already modern.
High Street business work
Lighting, power, PAT testing and maintenance for shops and offices, planned around trading hours.
